Katharine Nevius Obituary
Kathy passed away peacefully at her home in Lafayette on Sunday, November 15, 2020 surrounded by family and loved ones.
She was born on June 21, 1958 on Hill Air Force Base in Utah to Martin and Frieda Shaw. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years Bill Nevius, children Jake Nevius and Kacie Nevius, parents Martin & Frieda Shaw, as well as brother Bill Shaw and sister Carol Shaw Pratt. She is also survived by her loyal companion and dog, Sami Nevius.
Kathy most loved spending time with her family, taking care of her flowers and garden, and enjoyed all dogs but most especially her German Shepherds.
In lieu of flowers, Kathy requested that donations be made to Children's Hospital @ http://www.childrenscoloradofoundation.org/
Due to Covid-19, the family will hold a small private Celebration of Life later in 2021 in Oahu, one of Kathy's favorite homes throughout her life. The following link is a short video of Kathy with family and friends throughout the years:
