Guy Paul Jessee

Guy Paul Jessee, 66, of New Meadows, Idaho, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022 in Lakewood, Colorado, surrounded by family and loved ones.

Guy was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Paul Jessee and Marcia Jessee on February 24, 1956. He moved to Campbell, California, at a young age with his family where he was a graduate of Campbell High school in 1975. During high school, he was named a Master of Machining by the National Tooling & Machining Association in Washington, DC, for his expertise in machining. Guy and his brother Chett Jessee opened Jessee Brothers Inc. which they co-owned for several years. Later in life, he moved to Longmont, Colorado, where he was a manager at Seagate for 17 years. In 2002, he started the business GuyTech Machining that he owned and operated for 14 years. After retiring, he pursued a quieter life close to nature in New Meadows, Idaho. He lived near and loved the Little Salmon River, which he fished in almost every day.

Guy is preceded in death by his parents Paul Jessee and Marcia Jessee, his sister Lynda Jessee, and his brother Chett Jessee.

Guy is survived by his four children Randy Jessee, Miranda Mode (Alan), Megan Jessee (Devin), Kaitlyn Jessee (Luke), four grandchildren Aliviah Mode, Abbygale Mode, Hunter Jessee, and Ruby Jessee, several nieces and nephews as well as his long time life partner Diane Jessee.

Through the years, Guy loved fishing, airplanes, cars, and his family. He enjoyed spending time outside and loved the fall and winter. He had an adventurous spirit and traveled to Singapore, Mexico, the Cayman Islands, and Hawaii. His sense of humor was unmatched and he was known for his kind, friendly, and caring personality. His life and the memories he created with others will be cherished always. Guy Jessee has ‘Gone Fishing’ forever.

A celebration of life will be held for Guy in California with close family members and loved ones in the future.
