Betty L. Anson

Betty Luvida Anson, age 84 of Boulder, CO, died Tuesday August 6, 2019 at her home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 11:00AM, viewing at 10:00AM, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4655 Table Mesa Dr. in Boulder, CO.  Interment will follow the service in Broomfield County Commons Cemetery.

Betty was born on August 19, 1934, to Neils Peter and Kathrine Betty Jensen in Torrance, CA. She was the youngest of five. Siblings were Jackie Lowell, Jeana Lita, Paul Norman and Carla Thomasine. The family lived in Torrance, California and Payette, Idaho before settling in La Grande, Oregon. On January 27, 1953 she married Wilbur Anson in La Grande, Oregon. They moved to Boulder, Colorado and raised five children, Caron Andrea, Byron Joseph, John Amaron, Bruce Daniel and David Benjamin. Betty loved gourmet cooking, ice skating, ballroom dancing, Hawaiian dancing, sewing, quilting and most of all her family.

Survivors include her husband, Wilbur Anson; children and their spouses, Caron and Mike Nannie, Byron and Christine Anson, John and Tammie Anson, daughter-in-law Tricia Anson and David and Kim Anson; grandchildren Stacey, Nathan, Amy, Laura, Brian, Iris, Tiffani, Jeff, Naomi, Alexis, Brooke, Conrad, Daphne, Erin, Faith, Travis, Calvin, Anthony, Otis, Jessica, Maddox, Cameron, Angelica, Xaeli, Danielle, Andreea, Nichelle, Charlee, Brittany, Katie, Lindsey, and 43 great grandchildren.

Her parents, brothers and sisters, son Bruce Anson and grandson Paul Anson all preceded her in death.
