Allen Tenbrink Obituary

Allen Louis Tenbrink passed away on March 11 from chronic kidney disease.  He was born in Denver on April 10, 1949, and attended local Denver schools graduating from East High in 1967.  He enlisted in the US Navy in 1968 and was stationed in Rota, Spain, where he started his first band.  After returning to the Denver area in 1972 he was part of several R&R bands throughout the 70's - 90's.  His passion in life was playing lead guitar in these bands, the most notable one being 'Moss Creek'.  This band played in many venues around Colorado during the 90's. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Joe and Alberta Tenbrink, and sisters Donna (Clasen) and Jackie (Stark).  He is survived by his brother Stephen of Fort Collins and sister Shirley (Kincaid) of Rocky Ford plus five nieces and a nephew.  Donations in his name can be made to Brookdale Hospice in Jefferson County.
